A Caring Foundation for Early Learning

Treasure Coast Children's Academy was created to provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive early learning environment for children during the most important years of development. We believe every child deserves a place where they feel valued, understood, and encouraged to grow.

Our academy serves children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, offering programs that focus on emotional development, early education, and social growth. Through play-based learning, guided activities, and caring relationships, we help children develop the confidence and skills they need for school and beyond.

We are proud to support working families in the Fort Pierce community by providing dependable childcare and a welcoming environment where children can learn, explore, and thrive.

Loretta Gibbons — Owner / Director

Loretta Gibbons is an experienced early childhood education leader with over two decades of experience in preschool leadership and childcare management.

After earning her Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Indian River State College in Fort Pierce, Florida, Loretta began her career as a preschool teacher before becoming Director at La Petite Academy in 1999. During her twelve years there, she led teams of up to 20 staff members while maintaining high standards in childcare quality, customer service, and operational management.

In 2011, Loretta joined Open Arms of Fort Pierce as Preschool Director and Principal, where she managed teams of up to 27 staff members while overseeing curriculum implementation, financial operations, staff development, and regulatory compliance. She also conducted workshops at statewide conferences and consulted with preschools throughout Florida.

Loretta also successfully launched and led a preschool startup that reached full enrollment with a waitlist within its first year.

In 2025, Loretta founded Treasure Coast Children's Academy to provide a childcare center focused on comfort, relationships, kindness, spiritual growth, and a true sense of belonging for every child.

Her goal is to create a preschool environment where children are supported, families feel connected, and every child has the opportunity to succeed.
